Artisan Coffee

NewGround coffee: ethically sourced high-grade coffee, carefully selected from small-scale farms around the world, roasted at their state-of-the-art facilities in Oxford. Their business creates work and training opportunities for ex-offenders across the UK, giving some of the most overlooked people in society a new beginning. We are proud to be a small part of the NewGround story by offering their coffee as our house roast.

Alongside NewGround our decaf house is supplied by Alex at Secret Garden Roasters. Alex is firmly part of the Barns Café story so it made complete sense to partner with him.

The Finest Tea

chantler_redWe’ve a fabulous selection of the finest quality loose-leaf teas, so you can enjoy the ultimate tea experience. We get our teas from a small family business in South Wales called Chantler Teas. Chantlers source all their teas from plantations that are either signatories to Fairtrade or/and are part of the Ethical Trade Partnership (ETP), an organisation of tea producers and importers who work together to ensure the highest possible standard for estate owners and workers alike.

Selection of teas

We’ve got nearly twenty different varieties to choose from. Why not pick one you’ve never tried before?
